The greatest aspect of my own views on spirituality is the ability to stretch what you believe without restriction, and the ability to accept all other forms of spirituality and religion and to accept where others are by their own searching. This opens to widening my own beliefs while maintaining the ability to reject those parts of any path that do not ring true for me while allowing others to be where they are in the eternal search. Accepting that we are on a spiritual path is just that, accepting. We are all on one whether we acknowledge it or accept it. We are still on a path of our own creation, based on what has gone before and what we see as a furthering of our own truths. one big difference

most paths to the light involve going to a 'place' and worshiping whoever is 'the light'. my own search denies that, it says rather, that we join the light and become a part of it. this makes much more sense to me than any other interpretation of the divine that I have heard of.
